Yoga Instructor - Health Coach

Well hello there Lovely One! Let me introduce myself, I am Catie!

I’m a lover of books and all things creative! Nature is my playground, my therapy, and the place where I usually feel most at home.

Family, community, creativity, and exercise are the things that fuel me and keep me passionate about life.

Through my teen and college years I struggled deeply with body image and an unhealthy relationship with food. I used eating as an emotional coping tool.  Over the years, as I worked in the supplement and health food industry and sought out information and resources to help myself, I gradually gained the tools to grow beyond my self destructive habits. After graduating from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in psychology, my journey of healing led me to enroll in the health-coaching program at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2013. Here, I learned to nourish my body through real, whole foods. I changed my lifestyle and made choices that helped support who I am, both in and out of the kitchen. In March of 2014 I was lucky enough to go through my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Yoga Body Studios, located in the lovely Chino Hills.

 I know what it is to struggle with oneself while learning to grow and enact change. My goal is to incorporate loving self-reflection and development into my health coaching and yoga practices. I want to help you discover the best version of your life possible. The foundation of all my work is developing Self-care  and a healthy relationship with one’s Self. I want to create a safe space where you can begin to discover how best to nurture yourself through your daily life. It is my goal to help you to develop the life force necessary to dedicate more time to yourself and the ones you love. I want you to feel better, starting from the inside out. I want you to have more energy and mental clarity to do what you really care about. 

I have had the great fortune to be on this journey towards a life of authenticity, and I look forward to being a part of your journey as well!
